Copperhead.
I wasn't blown away by Ironskin, but I might give this one a shot after all. It will be published September 2013 by Tor Books. What Tina (source: Goodreads) says about this book:
And yes, that's not Jane on the cover. Jane is in the story, but with COPPERHEAD we jump forward six months from the end of IRONSKIN and Jane's sister Helen gets the chance to tell her story.. More story details to come down the road!Ironskin:
Jane Eliot wears an iron mask. It’s
the only way to contain the fey curse that scars her cheek. The Great
War is five years gone, but its scattered victims remain—the ironskin. When
a carefully worded listing appears for a governess to assist with a
"delicate situation"—a child born during the Great War—Jane is certain
the child is fey-cursed, and that she can help. Teaching the
unruly Dorie to suppress her curse is hard enough; she certainly didn’t
expect to fall for the girl’s father, the enigmatic artist Edward
Rochart. Jane knows Rochart cannot love her,
just as she knows that she must wear iron for the rest of her life. But
what if neither of these things is true? Step by step Jane unlocks the
secrets of her new life—and discovers just how far she will go to become
whole again. What do you think? I really like how the covers match.

Its a series?? I did not know this. I have Ironskin from the library, but I haven't stared reading it yet. And now that I know its a series I really want to start reading it :).
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Ironskin but I love this cover for Coppherad-so pretty and it makes me want to read both books so that's some good cover design there!
ReplyDeleteI never read Ironskin but that is one gorgeous cover. :)
ReplyDeleteI have not yet read Ironskin but the cover for Copperhead is lovely! I think I might add both to the TBR pile :)
ReplyDeleteI love the cover, it has a 40's gibe to it
ReplyDeleteOoo, I like this cover and I like how they match. I LOVE when covers in series go together nicely. I haven't read Ironskin. Been on the fence about it because of things I've heard. But I'll probably read Copperhead just because it's a Beauty and the Beast retelling. ;)
