Showcase Sunday 30. Another bargain edition.

I managed to grab these four books for a bargain at my local bookstore:

Sandy Williams - The shattered dark. Part 2, but I couldn't resist it.
Philippa Ballantine - Geist. I've been eyeing this series for a while, because the covers are gorgeous and it sounds interesting. Part 1.
Kerry Schafer - Between. I like dragons. Part 1.
Gail Carriger - Blameless. Part 3 of the Parasol Protectorate. I'm planning to buy the second book soon, so I can continue. I really liked Soulless.

And Harlequin Teen accepted my request on Netgalley for The eternity cure - Julie Kagawa. I'm so excited! The immortal rules is one of my favorite books from 2012.

Leave a link to your haul!

  17. Admittedly, none of Gail Carriger's books ever really interested me, but I am hoping to read at least one of them, if possible! I enjoyed The Eternity Cure so much, too - hope you do. :) It really went much deeper than the first book, in my opinion. Happy reading, Mel!

  28. Oh I loved Gail Carriger's YA book---I've been wanting to try a few of her adult books, too! They all look so fun!

  29. I also have Between & Geist on my to-buy list. And Soulless too since I didn't start Parasol Protectorate series. I read The Shadow Reader by Sandy Williams and of course totally forgot that book #2 is out. It was not bad, only thing I remember that I didn't' like was love triangle, but they are my personal pet peeve.
I've got review copy of The eternity cure some time ago too. Yay for us.
Happy reading! Hope you enjoy them all!

  30. Between sounds like something I might like! I haven't come across it before, so thanks for drawing it to my attention. I can't wait to see what you think of The Eternity Cure. It started off a little slow for me, but I really liked it towards the end. Enjoy!

  32. The Eternity Cur is amazing!! And I've been meaning to start this Shattered Dark series for a while now but never seem to get around to it. Blameless is also the next one in the series on my reading list (I got the box set) but after how the last book ended I've been putting it off...
Enjoy all your books! Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
