Rachel Caine – Prince of Shadows: February 4th 2014 by NAL. Retelling from Romeo & Juliet!
Janna Jennings – A Grimm Legacy: October 1st 2013 by Patchwork Press. One word: fairytales.
Sarah Beth Durst – The lost: October 29th 2013 by Harlequin Luna. Sounds very interesting. I haven’t read anything from this author yet, but I hope to change that soon.

Adam Gidwitz - The Grimm conclusion: October 8th 2013 by Dutton Juvenile. I love this series! This is part three, but they can be read as stand-alones.
Lauren DeStefano – Perfect ruin: October 1st 2013 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. I liked Wither (still need to finish this series) and it looks interesting.
Sara B. Larson – Defy: January 7th 2014 by Scholastic Press. Sounds great, I love (high) fantasy.

That’s it for this week! Leave a link to your WoW pick(s).

  1. Nice pick!! I love the cover of The Lost! Simple but great. Perfect Ruin seems good although I haven't read DeStefano's Chemicam Garden series...

  2. Lost and Perfect Ruin are the only ones I am familiar with but they all look and sound great. Wither wasn't my all time favorite book, but I will definitely read her new series. Great picks, Mel!

  8. Ahh, lots of awesome books :D Dying to read Perfect Ruin. <3 I had actually put Defy on my to-read list. Then I checked it out last week; when a new summary was there.. it says there is a love triangle. Right in the summary. Damn it. I won't read it :D Hope you'll end up enjoying it, though, and all the others :D Thank you for sharing sweetie. <3

  10. Pretty book covers this week! Perfect Ruin actually sounds pretty good. I didn't really like the Chemical Garden series, so I'm hoping that Perfect Ruin is actually really good!

  13. The Lost and Perfect Ruin! Looking forward to those, too. I haven't heard of the rest, but that retelling of Romeo and Juliet looks interesting. Maybe this time the lovers won't be as stupid? :P Defy's cover kind of reminds me of Kristin Cashore's Graceling series, but yay for HF!

  16. Ooh this is my first time seeing the cover of The Lost! It sounds fantastic and I can't wait to read it. I'm also quite excited about Rachel Caine's new one. Although her Morganville Vampires books have sort of lost their touch for me, I'm looking forward to something new from her. Great picks, Mel! :)
