WoW 41. Most wanted.

                                                     Hosted by: Breaking the spine

I have many, many, many books I want to read, but this one is definitely in the top 3 of books I can't wait to read. I love Cinder, I even loved Scarlet more, so I'm very excited for part 3 of the Lunar Chronicles: Cress. by Marissa Meyer. There is no cover, but I had to share the blurb:

Rapunzel's tower is a satellite. She can't let down her hair - or her guard.
In this third book in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.  Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker – unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.  When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.

  26. YES OMG CRESS. I was signed up on an ARC tour, and then we were informed that the pub didn't want the ARC to go out that early, so it got canceled for a few months. SO SAD. I WANTS NAO. Did you read the first chapter that they'd posted on Scribd/MM's website?

  27. Okay I admit I still haven't read Cinder and Scarlet yet but they are on my TBR pile just waiting to be read but omg Cress sounds AMAZING! Looking at the pictures of the ARCs, it is HUGE. I am definitely going to get to reading the first two books before Cress comes out haha.

  29. Ooooh, Rapunzel is next. I'm so eager to start reading this series and I love Rapunzel in particular amongst the fairytales, so I will have to read them soon!

  30. I still have yet to read Scarlet but after reading the blurb for Cress, I'm wondering if it'd be all right for me to just skip ahead and read this first? Because Rapunzel has been my favourite princess ever since I watched Tangled and I'm just SO excited to see where Marissa is going to take the tale!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I don't recommend skipping Scarlet. Not only because this book is amazing, I think you might miss important parts of the story. There is quite some information in Scarlet :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Scarlet blew me away so I can't wait for the next installment in this series either!
