WoW 42. Lady Thief.

Sometimes there are those hyped books that actually aren’t worth the time. Sometimes there are those amazing books that hardly get any attention. This WoW pick is an example of the last one. I absolutely adored Scarlet by A.C Gaughen. It’s a clever Robin Hood retelling, so you can imagine my enthusiasm when I got the news that it's going to be a series! And hello, have you seen the covers? Stunning!

I have many, many, many books I want to read, but this one is definitely in the top 3 of books I can't wait to read. I love Cinder, I even loved Scarlet more, so I'm very excited for part 3 of the Lunar Chronicles: Cress. by Marissa Meyer. There is no cover, but I had to share the blurb:

Adam Gidwitz - The Grimm conclusion: October 8th 2013 by Dutton Juvenile. I love this series! This is part three, but they can be read as stand-alones.

Lauren DeStefano – Perfect ruin: October 1st 2013 by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. I liked Wither (still need to finish this series) and it looks interesting.

Sara B. Larson – Defy: January 7th 2014 by Scholastic Press. Sounds great, I love (high) fantasy.

I've been so busy! I had a birthday party and on top of that, I'm busy with a presentation and I have an exam coming up on Friday. BUT, it's also my birthday today! I'm starting to feel old, haha. I can't believe how time flies, because I still feel like I'm 16 years.. Wake up Mel, 22 already. I used to love birthdays, but I don't have that feeling anymore.

I don't think I'll be getting any presents today; I'm going to celebrate it together with my sister in a party for family (May 4th) and a separate one for friends :) Luckily for me, my sister and me are both free from school today. We are going to have a High Tea together, I can't wait! I hope I get a little bit of happy-birthday-feeling.

The immortal rules is one of my favorite books this year, so I can't wait for this book. Everything that has to do with this world is great! That's why I also have to feature part 2:

I'm not sure about this one. I really liked the first book The adoration of Jenna Fox, but the second one wasn't so good. Still, I love the covers! And it might be fun to see how this story continues.

April Genevieve Tucholke - Between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Violet's grandmother had warned her about the Devil, had talked about him often, as though he were a best friend, or an old lover. But she never told Violet that the Devil could be real. She never told Violet that the Devil could be a dark-haired boy in vintage clothes who takes naps in the sun and likes old movies and vigilante justice.

River West is the seventeen-year old stranger renting the guesthouse behind the rotting mansion on the sea, where Violet lives. And as eerie things start happening in Violet's town, she begins to wonder about the boy living in her backyard. Is River just a crooked-smiling, coffee-loving liar with rascally eyes and a mysterious past? Or could he be something else? Something...evil?

Violet's already so knee-deep in love she can't see straight.

And that's just how River likes it.

 The title is awesome! I'm very curious how this story is going to unravel.
